Board of Park Commissioners

NOTE: The June 2013 board meet­ing will be held Wednes­day, June 12, 2 p.m. at Hog­back Ridge Preserve.

The three-members of the Board of Park Com­mis­sion­ers are appointed by the Delaware County Pro­bate Judge, and serve 3-year terms (with no term limits).

The board’s major role is to set pol­icy and to approve expen­di­tures, includ­ing those for land acquisition.

Board meet­ings are gen­er­ally held the sec­ond Thurs­day of each month, at 1 p.m., at Hog­back Ridge Pre­serve, 2656 Hog­back Road, Sun­bury, 43074 (sub­ject to change). Meet­ings are open to the pub­lic, and mem­bers of the pub­lic may address the board at the start of the meet­ing.
