The three-members of the Board of Park Commissioners are appointed by the Delaware County Probate Judge, and serve 3-year terms (with no term limits).
The board’s major role is to set policy and to approve expenditures, including those for land acquisition.
Board meetings are generally held the second Thursday of each month, at 1 p.m., at Hogback Ridge Preserve, 2656 Hogback Road, Sunbury, 43074 (subject to change). Meetings are open to the public, and members of the public may address the board at the start of the meeting. Meeting times and locations are also listed in the on-line calendar on the home page.
Archived agendas and minutes can be found under the News & Publications tab. Agendas are posted about a week before the meeting, and minutes from the previous month are posted after they are approved by the board of commissioners.
