The three-members of the Board of Park Commissioners are appointed by the Delaware County Probate Judge, and serve 3-year terms (with no term limits).
The board’s major role is to set policy and to approve expenditures, including those for land acquisition.
Board meetings are generally held the first Thursday of each month, at 1 p.m., at Hogback Ridge Preserve, 2656 Hogback Road, Sunbury, 43074 (subject to change). Meetings are open to the public, and members of the public may address the board at the start of the meeting. Meeting times and locations are also listed in the on-line calendar on the home page.
Agendas for upcoming meetings are posted on this page before the board meeting, as soon as they are completed and available.
Archived minutes can be found under the News & Publications tab, and are published about a week after the meeting at which they were approved by the Board of Commissioners.
