The RIVER RUN project is to develop access and parking for a canoe and kayak launch at a 14-acre park located at 158 Main Road in Delaware, Ohio, along the west bank of the Olentangy River. Proposed improvements include an entrance off Main Road, gravel driveway and 10 car parking area, an access route from the parking lot to the launch point with a turnaround for vehicles and trailers, and a kiosk for safety and other information. The parking lot and access route will meet the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, as well as the guidelines for Outdoor Accessible Areas. Click here for the River Run Preserve Master Plan. Comments are due May 4 for the River Run project.
