The mission of Preservation Parks is: To protect and conserve the natural and historic features of Delaware County and to inspire outdoor exploration and learning.

Our goals are to preserve green space in our rapidly developing county and to provide environmental education to its residents. Because parks add value to our quality of life, Preservation Parks is committed to continuing to acquire and develop additional areas which can enrich our lives and provide clean, safe places for recreation and relaxation for all members of our community.

New Year’s Holiday Hours announced

Happy New Year to all our Preservation Parks visitors! For the New Year’s Day Holiday, we will be open regular hours in all parks and facilities with two exceptions: The district office and Mary McCoy Nature Center at Hogback Ridge Preserve will be CLOSED on Jan. 1. Gallant Farm will be open 10 a.m. -noon in conjunction with the annual New Year’s Day Hike, which will begin at Gallant Woods Preserve and end at the Farm. The Farm will NOT be open its normal Noon-5 p.m. hours.
