Boysel has been an outdoor enthusiast since growing up on a farm outside of Rushsylvania, Ohio, in Logan County. Boysel received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Education from the Ohio State University and his Master of Business Administration from Ashland University.
Dan has been employed by Consolidated Electric Cooperative (CEC) since moving to Delaware County in 1992. Currently he serves as Director of Economic Development for CEC and works with economic development and fiber optic projects. He also is an active auctioneer in real estate and personal properties.
Dan’s involvement with Preservation Parks of Delaware County comes from his enjoyment of the outdoors instilled in him by his father. Dan feels that Preservation Parks is a vehicle through which this generation can preserve and conserve our natural resources in Delaware County so future generations can enjoy the history and natural surrounding found here. He says it also provides an opportunity to continue to preserve land, which protects and promotes our clean air and water resources.
Dan and his wife Kerry live in Radnor Township and have two sons. Dan also is active in the Delaware County Kiwanis, Ducks Unlimited, NRA, Delaware County Republican Central Committee, OSU Ag Alumni Association, Morrow County Chamber of Commerce Board, and assists other local non-profit organizations. His spare time is spent hunting, fishing and enjoying outdoor recreation.
